We've been in our new home for almost 3 months now, which is "weird" because in many ways it feels like we've been here "forever". It feels natural and comfortable familiar and permanent. If you know me, you know this is a challenging state of being for me 😗.
Each day I'm grateful for the many blessings we have. My art studio is very adequate with plenty of space for all my materials, nice natural light when the garage door is open, several work tables and lots of inspiration. After several years of not creating any mosaics, in a studio of my own, I'm pretty happy to say, I now have two new mosaics to post on my website. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next as I experiment with these beautiful materials.
Max has decided to pursue his interest in ceramics again and on his side of the garage he has a new kiln, a beautiful work table and some clay that he discovered, which is processed here in NM. He also has a workspace for fly tying (he's a fly fisher) and we have tools we'll use to build planters for our Spring garden. After years of moving around it's pretty great to have a nice size yard and house that we can make our own. One day I hope we'll be able to entertain.
I'm posting this right before Thanksgiving and I wish all that read this a very blessed day.
